The DAA Group Ltd is an experienced Auditing organisation, designated by the Ministry of Health to provide Certification to the Health & Disability Sector Standards and by IANZ
to provide Certification or Accreditation to a range of other standards.
DAA Group Ltd will assign to you a client manager (refer to the home page for the bio on each client manager) to form a long term supportive relationship that meets your needs. The client manager has a
wider connection to expertise and experience as needed or required through the other members of the auditor pool. You can select who of the client managers you wish to work with.
The group has an established auditor pool, common training and auditor monitoring systems and support services to ensure service needs are met.
DAA Group Services
DAA Group Auditors are trained and undertake continual review of their understanding of current audit practices and to ensure consistency of those practices.
An understanding of Quality and Risk Management Systems is an important part of this training. This ensures you work with specialists who can support you to develop your systems and encourage you towards
continual quality improvement and consequently longer certification periods.

* Reports to meet your requirements and those of the Ministry of Health where required.

Experience
DAA Group has the capability to audit health and disability service sectors. Collectively the Client Managers of DAA Group have more than 30 years audit experience in a wide variety of health
services.
Only experienced and qualified healthcare auditors with expertise relevant to the services being audited and the pertinent Standards will manage the audits. As and when necessary, the audit team will be
supplemented by clinical / technical experts who will be trained prior to commencement of the audit.
Confidentiality
The DAA Group has a policy on Confidentiality that requires all people involved in audits and evaluations to maintain
confidentiality of information gained as part of the evaluation process. In addition, all auditors and other staff sign a confidentiality agreement which is held on file. This is monitored as part of our internal quality management system.
Conflict of Interest
Kaupapa Maori
The DAA Group has worked with many Maori provider organisations. We have experience in meeting needs and protocols as part of our existing relationships.
Where specific needs are identified within a provider organisation, or for a Maori specific service, there are Maori auditors trained and working within our existing auditor pool.
Auditor Availability and Technical Expertise
The Group has an existing pool of auditors who currently perform audits under the direction and guidance of DAA Client Managers. The pool includes personnel with extensive clinical and management systems
experience. The pool also includes access to technical expertise in standards related to the provision of services, including Maori, consumers and family auditors as appropriate.
Through our established auditor training courses and supervision/review, DAA Group will ensure that this pool of auditors has consistent audit approach.
Effective Systems for Auditing
Our infrastructures have been developed and maintained since 1992 to meet the best practice ISO 19011.1/2/3 requirements for auditing quality systems. This auditing standard is the training required
internationally for auditors.
Accreditation Status
The DAA Group Ltd is Accredited by IANZ as a Certification body and Designated by the Ministry of Health.
